| Summary | 0001462: Errors in the xform chain setup after an _add method is called should be propogated back to clients | ||||
| Description | Basically, clients should be made aware of errors that occurred when they tried to add a song (for example failed authentication on SMB, etc). This would seem to require that the server-side _add methods be able to wait until the full chain is setup. rafl suggested that each plugin in the chain get an xmms_error_t they could fill in if that plugin failed which could then be passed back on the result to the client. | ||||
